The EMP Commander is a must have. It is the second Attack Commander that you receive, done so after the completion of Contract 6

It has an AoE (Area of Effect) attack that disables all the affected enemy towers and prevents them from attacking your troops. This is best used in effect with a cojoining Air Strike, using Drones or a simultaneous ground attack using Mechs to wipe out enemy defences, before your more vulnerable troops move in.
